THE SPEAKER

James McInerney, MD, FAANS, FACS, received his medical degree from Georgetown University in 1993. He then completed an internship in surgery at Walter Reed National Naval Medical Center in 1994, followed by residency training in neurological surgery, which he completed at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in 2001, and a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Currently, Dr. McInerny is a professor at Penn State Health and has special interest in stereotactic radiosurgery as well as functional diseases.

He has published many articles relevant to these interests, pushing the boundaries of what once was thought as impossible.
